The Full Chain from Import to Destruction
Import Licence & Customs
Preparation and management of TİTCK import licence applications; end-to-end management of customs clearance procedures (7-14 days).
IMP Storage
Validated, continuously monitored storage areas: 15-25°C ambient, 2-8°C refrigerated, and -18/-26°C freezer conditions.
IOR / EOR Procurement
Purchase of consumables and equipment needed for your trial; acting as Importer of Record (IOR) and Exporter of Record (EOR).
Temperature-Controlled Distribution
IMP and non-IMP products are delivered across the country within 24 hours from central Türkiye in temperature-controlled packaging; personal delivery for critical products.
Destruction
Remaining IMPs are destroyed through certified processes in accordance with the provisions of the Turkish Hazardous Waste Regulations.
Labelling
IMP labelling services per protocol requirements; together with language, warning, and traceability information.
The CoronaVac and TURKOVAC Cold Chain Ran Through This Depot
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the cold-chain storage, distribution, and destruction of the CoronaVac and TURKOVAC vaccines at trial sites were carried out by the Omega Drug Depot.

MoH-Approved, Inspected Twice a Year
The depot passed Turkish Ministry of Health inspection and received approval in 2013 under the newly enacted regulations. To maintain the highest levels of quality and compliance, the facilities continue to be inspected every six months.
As the only organization to have provided depot and distribution services for a Ministry of Health project, Omega delivered approximately 340,000 IMPs to 227 sites across 81 cities within a smoking cessation program.
